On the Feb. 13 edition of Talking Preps, Randall Clark, Rick Lewis and Gary Richmond announced their choices for coaches and players of the year for some regional conferences.

Molly Burns, Ardrey Kell: 14.6 points, 2.7 steals, 2.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists for the Knights.
Nevaeh Farmer, North Mecklenburg: led Vikings to league title, averaging 17.1 points, 5.8 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 5.2 steals.
Misa Garris, Garinger: freshman averages 19 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.9 steals per game for the Wildcats.
Kam Kitchen, Independence: led team to rare conference title averaging 14.7 points, 3.7 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 3.1 steals.
Devin Long, Olympic: 16.7 points per game, 3.8 rebounds and 2.2 steals.
Elle Stone, Mallard Creek: sophomore averaging 18.5 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.0 steals.
Blanca Thomas, Charlotte Catholic: top 10 national recruit 15.4 points, 9.9 rebounds, 3.9 blocks and 1.7 assists.
Jerin Truesdale, Myers Park: averaged 13.4 points, 7.2 rebounds, two steals and 1.8 assists.
