South Carolina football landed its second transfer addition of the day on Sunday evening.
Yale offensive lineman Nick Gargiulo committed to Shane Beamer’s USC Gamecocks.
Gargulo, 6-foot-5 offensive tackle, joins Newberry College running back Mario Anderson as second transfer portal addition announced Sunday. USC also got two high school commitments earlier in the day.
Gargulo was a team captain this season in helping Yale to the Ivy League championship. He appeared in 25 games for the Bulldogs and will be a graduate transfer.

He previously worked at the Florence Morning News and had covered high school sports in South Carolina since 2002. Lou is a two-time South Carolina Sports Writer of the Year by the National Sports Media Association.
