Hough played Greensboro Grimsley in the NC 4A quarterfinals Friday
Only two weeks remain in the season, and with only 16 teams still playing, the chance for movement in these rankings has dwindled.
But that didn’t stop a pretty significant shuffle from happening this past week, as one of our top teams fell from its perch.
Traditional powers in the West exerted their might, while in the East, one top seed fell to a team that was criminally underrated in the NCHSAA seeding process.
Grimsley held on to the top sport in the 4A rankings, while Burns and Tarboro held steady in 2A and 1A, respectively.
