A public celebration of Jerry Richardson’s life will be held Saturday, March 18, in Spartanburg, SC in the Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium on the campus of Wofford College.
The event will be livestreamed here once it starts at 11:00 a.m.
Richardson died March 1 at age 86. Richardson spent his final decades in Charlotte, but he also held Wofford close to his heart. The Carolina Panthers were created by Richardson in 1995 and continued to own the team until 2018 when it was sold to David Tepper.
