The Duke Blue Devils, the 5th seed in the NCAA Tournament face the Tennessee Volunteers, seeded 4th, in the second round, Saturday afternoon, March 18, 2023.
The game shaped up early as a physical battle of big men as the Devils’ Kyle Filipowski battled the Vols’ Uros Plavsic in the paint. Filipowski went out with a deep cut below his left eye early in the game, but returned before the midpoint of the half.
Tennessee leads 27-21 at the half.
